The next executive meeting will be held at Genesis Place (800 East Lake Blvd NE) in Airdrie on Saturday February 5th, 10:00am.

The following rule changes are official for 2011:
  • 50+ Cruiser class
  • 20 wins required to move from Intermediate Male to Expert Male. This is for all Male riders new or returning.
  • Open classes being added to Provincials. We will start with Junior/Elite Open and 14+ Open
  • Time trials for Junior/Elite at the Provincial Championships
  • Series tie-break now uses count back (best finishes in best 3 races) instead of final race as tie-breaker
Rule not yet ratified but expected is a minimum license age of 10 to use clipless pedals

To vote, $50 Membership Fee Plus $1 per rider is required. One vote per track plus executive votes.
Saturday start time: 9:00am TO 5:00pm; Coffee, donuts, muffins in am, lunch also provided.
Sunday start time: 10:00am to finish

Please note - many riders are pre-registering with incorrect plate numbers. You cannot run a national "N" plate earned in 2009, or a Western National "C" plate earned in 2009. If you earned either this year (2010) you need to register with those numbers. If you earned both you must run the higher ranked National "N" plate. IF you have already registered with the wrong plate please email us here to correct it. Failure to have correct plate numbers will cause a delay in getting the race started.
Also, for those that are new to the Provincial Championship race being held on Sunday, please note it is an age only race (no ability classes) similar to the National Championships.

AABA Supercamp coming to Alberta For the first time in many years ABA (American Bicycle Association) SuperCamp is coming back to Southern Alberta. This camp was organized last week on very short notice by Calgary and Okotoks BMX. On July 24-25 some of the best riders from the US will be at Calgary BMX. Bubba Harris, Lee Lewis, Deak Brown, and Thomas Vallejo will offer their outstanding instruction in a two day camp. Cost is $100 for the weekend or $60 single day. Provincial Cup #3 got off with perfect weather on day one in the Hat but once again this year, mother nature gave us rain and day #2 was wet with the rainout policy coming in to effect and race #3 became a double-pointer if you chose to keep your registration in.
