Online pre-registration for Provincial #2 in Calgary on June 8th is now open. Alberta BMX is not set-up with Karelo so you are unable to pre-pay the fees online you still need to do that at the track. Also, you must still check in at registration during the posted times, online pre-registration simply saves you and the moto builders time. The online form is NOW CLOSED.

Because Calgary is now hosting Provincial #2 instead of Okotoks, and because Calgary already has 2 other major events booked (Western National Finals and Provincial #5) it has been decided that Provincial #5 will now be hosted by Cochrane BMX on the same date (August 17th). This decision was based on the fact that Cochrane and Medicine Hat were the only 2 clubs that made unsuccessful bids on Provincials for 2008 and Medicine Hat already has the Summer Games for this year.

Abbotsford BMX hosted the 2008 CCA Canadian Championships on its rebuilt track from last years pre-worlds race. Last year rain forced them indoors but this year it was sunny and hot and the racing was excellent. The results are now posted in our POINTS section

Due to unfortunate circumstances the Okotoks Charity race, and the Okotoks Provincial race have been moved to Calgary. Both races are still scheduled to take place on the original dates of Saturday, June 7th and Sunday, June 8th. For more information on the Charity race check out this link . Calgary‘s Provincial race scheduled for August 17th will be moving to another track which is yet to be determined.

Okotoks BMX has another big charity event in the works. This year they are working to support the "Sunshine Dreams for Kids" charity and hope to garner the help of all the tracks. There will be a race and presentation on Saturday June 7th, the day before the Okotoks Provincial.
