The Alberta Bicycle Association (ABA) is now the official win tracker. They have all riders wins from 2007 forward and will be watching for riders that need to move up in class. To remind everyone; for boys 10 wins moves you from Novice to Intermediate, 25 MORE wins moves you from Intermediate to Expert. These wins accumulate for your career and do not start over each season. For girls it is 25 wins to go from Novice to Expert as there is no Intermediate girls class. Racing in the wrong class can result in a season ending suspension. Watch your wins!February 17, 2008

In a recent UCI ruling it was determined that no rider could wear their country jersey at any event other than the UCI World Championships. What that means to us is no more wearing our team Canada jerseys at any races; Local, Provincial or National. Wear it to school, or hang it on your wall. If you traded jerseys with a rider from another country, you can still wear that one.February 7, 2008
The assigned plate numbers for 2008 can be seen here.- It’s alphabetical by last name
- The riders category is either 20” or Cruiser because there are different plates for each of them.
- The plate number that the rider is to race with is the one that is shaded. W 1st, N 2nd, C 3rd, AB 4th, P 5th.
- Cruiser plates are bold type
- If a rider is not on the list then their number is the last 3 digits of their UCI code (which is their country followed by their birthday). For example, a UCI number for a Canadian born on August 31, 1984 would have the number CAN19840831. So the riders plate number would be 831.
