The UCI has posted the proposed diagrams for the 2008 Beijing Olympics BMX track. It's definetly "BMX Supercross style" (check out the 26' starting hill!). You can view the pictures here or directly on the UCI site

All riders in Championship Classes for 2007 (Junior/Elite) will need to accumulate at least 1 UCI point in the 2007 racing season to be eligible for the 2007 World Championships in Victoria. There will be no registration forms available. Championship class riders will be selected by the high performance committee against certain selection criteria as indicated here [pdf]

Alberta Provincial #1 is around the corner. The Easter Classic will be in Lethbridge April 6-7-8, 2007 and includes Pit bike races, a jump contest and an Easter Egg hunt. See the Lethbridge BMX website for more

For riders hoping to attend the Worlds but were not in the top 32 ranked riders, the CCA will be publishing a new updated ranking list each month for riders to check as the CCA gets updates from riders who have declined their spots. The most recent list can be seen on the CCA Website here
