Provincial #3 in Red Deer was going to beat Okotoks' record for number of riders, but then the rain began. Try as they might they just couldn't pull it off so the decision was made to postpone and move the race to the Saturday of Calgary's Provincial weekend. That would make the re-scheduled race August 25 in Calgary with Provincial #6 the following day.

Provincial #2 in Okotoks goes down as the greatest Provincial of all time (405 riders, including dual classes). The weather was great, the re-designed track was a blast, and the racing was awesome. Congratulations to all the organizers: Alberta Bicycle Association, Alberta BMX Association and of course, Okotoks BMX.
Barney Brown has some great photos of the racing click here and a video of the 15X class click here. Results will be posted on our POINTS page.

There is a PDF poster here. Please note there is a change to the registration times for Sunday (8:00 am to 9:00 am only).
You can save some time by filling out an online registration form here, but remember you must still report to registration to pay your fees within the posted registration times.

With temperatures near 30 degrees, the weather was as hot as the racing for Western Nationals #5 and #6. It was a small but talented turnout for this round (around 35 motos). Props to the organizers who once again showed how a race should be run. Are you listening CCA? (I doubt it). Check the POINTS page to see the finishes.
